FAQ'S

Skin Preparation:

The night before: Exfoliate face / lips, double cleanse & apply moisturiser to face / neck.

The morning of: - Double cleanse & apply moisturiser to face / neck.

- Please DO NOT arrive to your appointment with makeup on, including mascara.

- Gentle exfoliator only if you have active acne.

- Please wear a loose or button up shirt to avoid disturbing the hair & makeup.

Hair Preparation:

The night before: Wash hair & blow dry as smooth as possible. Do not use a straightener, as this can cause the hair to drop faster after styling.

The morning of: Please wear a loose or button up shirt to avoid disturbing the hair & makeup.

Things to avoid:

- No abrasive facial treatments (skin needling/peels) within 3 weeks of the event.

- Avoid trying new facial treatments, new skincare and facial waxing 1-2 weeks prior.

- No spray tan on your face (unless it's 1 thin layer of spray tan, or a specific face tanner). Eco Tan 'Face Tan Water' is recommended as it will not clog your pores or cause your face to over-produce oil.

- Avoid using sunscreen with an SPF above 30+, as this will cause flashback (white face) in flash photography.

- Please DO NOT arrive to your appointment with makeup on, including mascara.

Important tips for removing your makeup:

- Carefully remove your false lashes by using warm water on a cotton pad/towel to soak the lashline for around 30 seconds. This will allow the lash glue to soften first before removing the false lashes in a downward direction.

- Use a cleanser or makeup remover to remove majority of the makeup first. Follow with a double cleanse to ensure there is no product left on your skin, and pores are not blocked.

- For any stubborn eye makeup, use an oil based makeup remover on a cotton pad to gently remove excess product.

Wedding makeup trial prep:

If you are planning on having a spray tan on your wedding day, please try to also have a tan for your makeup trial. A tan will completely transform your makeup look and impact the final colours used for your eyeshadow, contour, blush & lipstick.
